If you want to determine which one is stronger just walk thru the nitro pits and do a count
    hint:
TFX is in just about every fuel car, just saying...

Not for nothing, but much of that is because the more they buy from Alan Johnson, the more help they get, and everything they run these days is designed around him. Not to mention Monkey See/Monkey Do.

I don't think you're going to go wrong with either really. Blown alcohol cars have had little to no BLOCK quality issues as far as being able to really hurt either with power. We tend to hurt blocks with STUPID, not power.

As far as parts interchanging? What do you mean? Running Brad heads on a TFX Block? Yes, you can do that.

I'm wondering if the TFX is lighter ? I know it's approx. .750 wider at the pan rail --- some say that might help skirt life ------ I have run the Brads in N F/C and liked it . The priority oiling helps #5 main issues ------- where as the TFX you can run a balance line to the rear ----- but it's not directed at any one saddle -----

    parts

I know Terry had told me in the past that TFX was considering making a block to fit the KB/BAE oil pan and front cover, but I have not heard if they went forward with that.

You will have no problems with a TFX fitting cylinder heads, but it does take a different oil pan and front cover.
