Rod life for lower effort ( compared to many here) cars?

So I've read lots of threads on point, but mostly it's guys talking about max effort or very high effort rides. So I'm wondering what a life cycle should be for a ride like mine:

    2100 pound swingarm dragster
    540 BBC
Littlefield 14-71 Hi-Helix running 30% OD (Old style 14-71, not Superman style, so harder to turn and harder on parts, right?)
    Powerglide 1.80 first, 4.10 rear, 34.5" tire
    Shift at 8000-8200
    Traps at 8000-8200
    My latest pass was 6.28 @ 216

Any comment on valve springs? Rods? Lifters? Anything else that I should be looking at differently from my non-blown 1000 hp BBC combo?

    Thanks!

Change rods at 25 passes ( if not post up the number of runs you got out of a set before one broke and trashed your motor ). That way we can all learn the amount of runs a god set of rods can make. LOL. On lifters get the rebuildable style and freshen them every year. Remove springs at least once a year and check spring pressure. When you buy new
move the used intake to the exhaust and save the others for the intake on next cycle.

When I first started running a blower I just basically changed manifolds and stuck a 14-71HHR Mert on my non blower engine and went racing. It actually went not too bad, the first thing that started failing was my piston pins. Make sure they are larger than factory and way thicker wall.

With a Chevy make sure you have your oiling system sorted out if you run wetsump, lost a crank and block on that engine when I started reving it.

Keep your ignition timing in the low 30's and don't lean it out, it should be reliable.

We're tractor pullers with Chevys (much lighter bobweights then hemis) and we routinely put 100 passes (11 second passes) on rods.

Springs are quick and easy to check.

    rods

You never said what rod you use but we ran GRP/MGP for 40 hits at 8800rpm 40-47psi 1/8th mile.

Get a valvespring checker and keep a log. They will tell you if they are happy.

Use top shelf lifters and rebuild every season as stated.

Lots of great help here already guys! Thanks.

I have 48 passes, about 41 1/8th mile and 7 1/4 mile. Done for the season and starting to pull things apart. GRP rods. Morel lifters (30 passes on them). I must admit, I don't log spring pressure over time but I'll add that to my normal list. Inspected bottom end at 18 passes and everything looked brand new. Oil changes about every 6 passes. First oil changes were every 3 passes until tuneup was right and oil looked great so I extended the change interval a little.

I expect to put new rods, bearings, rings and springs now.
I expect to inspect pistons and cylinder bores and rehone and replace as indicated.

How about my blower belt? I haven't changed it yet. I'm guessing I should change it now too.

And my ring and pinion - is 1900-2000hp enough that I should be replacing it each season?

Thanks again guys. I really appreciate the help!!
