Hey everyone, I thought I would ask on here to save some time before I started calling around to all the chassis shops. I'm looking for a "snorkle" or "shark fin" style vent for the fuel cell on my FED. I've found a couple (Neil and Parks, and Spitzer), but they're both made from carbon fibre and wont fit with the look i'm going for.

Does anyone know where I can find one hopefully made from aluminum? Or are there some other ideas out there? Really dont want a coiled tube or a normal stubby AN fitting vent. Im not at home to look right now, but I'm pretty sure I've got a 1" threaded bung in there now in case size matters (doesn't it always?!).

Any ideas for constructing my own are also welcomed.

    Thanks everyone!

why not drill a 1" hole in the bottom of the tank, and weld in a 1" tube that will extend up to the inside of the filler neck and vent the tank through the bottom? it's kind of like having the " invisible vent "

if you want it out of aluminum you are going to have to make it yourself or have a fabricator build you one.......

Neil and Parks built the Crop Duster NTF. McKinney built the Bartone NTF. The two best NTF. If you are thinking of nitro check with someone on the size and design of the tank. Some of the tanks are totally wrong for even the 20 gallon legal pump.
