Maybe the wrong place to ask, but maybe not......

Anything new about how the AJPE 5300 screw motor is working out at the tracks these days? Any new progress updates?

    Thanks.

Even Babe Ruth didn't hit a home run every time.

(For the young guys, Babe Ruth did it without PEDs) ;)

    1. That you know of
    2. Getting to break/make records before black people were allowed to play?.....I'd love to know how many homers the Babe would have hit had CC been throwing him 92-mile an hour sliders. Maybe the fat boy would have put the cigar down and stopped pointing had Jose been able to swim 90 miles and throw a junk ball. Don't worry if you don't follow. 90 miles is the distance between Key West and Cuba. And Jose is a stereotypical name for a Latino ballplayer. and a junk ball's an impossible pitch to hit yard any place except the new Yankee Stadium, which is a joke

How many have been made of these engines? Some claim only 3, but that seems like a prototype figure. I see all parts are available on the AJPE website and I know that a local tractor puller bought one, which supposedly was a spare engine from a dragster team.

Frank, that is why the talk started - And I got my answer straight from Terry at AJPE.
They built one with Janis and that one was moved to the Lowmad team. The Lowmad team then got a 2nd engine, and when they quit, one went back to AJPE where it still sits and the other was sold to Flemming who put it in his mini.
That thing is a BEAST - I don't think I have ever seen a mini pulling so violently at the end of a pull. And they are still just getting to know that set-up, before turning it up.
