I am sure this has been beat to death on here. I did a search and could not find what I was looking for.

What is the best thing to do to an alky system onced you are done running the engine. I have heard a wide variety of things.

This is my first alky setup.

Marvel Mystery Oil everything. Use air and blow it through the lines and barrel valve. Fill fuel pump with it also. Hope this helps.

Can I just remove the fuel inlet line to the fuel pump, fill it with MMO and crank the engine over to fill all the lines? Is there an easy method to lubing everything? Do I have to do this right after I am done running the engine, or can it sit for a day or so?

    Thanks for any help.

You can turn the motor over with the starter if it spins fast enough. Make sure you have a good supply of MMO to the pump in side. One to two days are fine. If you are talking about short storage time like between races just spray WD40 into the lines and barrel valve. I use MMO for like during the off season.
