481x crank in bbc block???

    a 481x crank has bbc mains and either hemi rods or bbc rod journals, basicly it is a bbc crank,also works in kb olds

    We ran a Chevy crank in our 481 for awhile. Like stated above you can get the crank with Chevy or Hemi rod journals. You can also get a Chevy or Hemi flange on the rear depending upon your clutch, flywheel, converter situation. The Hemi rod bearings are way more popular where you can but tops and bottom trays, but with the big block Chevy bearings you can only buy sets. Any reason why your looking to put the 481 crank in a big block Chevy? We ran in the 5.40's @ over 260 with a non-twist forged big block Chevy crank.
