Has anyone tried an Ohio crankshaft? They list top alcohol billets and a new nostalgia top fuel crank.

Goggle it. There is a tread on here that talks all about it. Not very positive results.

    Ohio Crank

I saw those threads, but they were from around 2007. Just wondered if they got it together.

For what it is worth--I have three in service right now. One in a naturally aspirated alcohol 540 BBC (tractor pulling), one in a 496 BBC, 14-71 alky RED, and one in a 540 BBC with a 14-71 at 45% over (tractor pulling). I have not had any issues with either. But that is just me. JW

I buy my cranks used from the top alcohol ranks. bryants, crower and such. my latest is a very nice velasco. Its straight and costs less than the china junk. my program runs 6.50-6.70s a HH 510 hemi. Funny NO used ohio cranks hmm...

Over the years I have had experiance with reworked Factory cranks , scats, Callie's , Crowers , lA billets , Velascos , Bryants , Windbergs ect. ect...... and my personal opinion is , you can't go wrong with a Bryant or Winberg !
