Best starter for hemi

    Hey what's the best starter for a hemi 24 volt deal ? I have a tilton super starter and just seems slow. New batteries , cables , everything. 24 volts . Meizere is offering a nice one as is msd. But I want racers expirences . Who's got problems , which one has been bullet proof. Thanks guys

    Meziere! I have one of there first 24v units and its is a work of art and it has performed flawlessly !
    It has incremental adjustments for engagement and is NOT a reworked offshore p.o.s. like a lot of others out there !

    MSD Starters are JUNK!!!!! Went to GPE!!! 10-times the starter!!

    I've run a couple csr 12 volts with 24 to them. On the hemi I face mounted it to the mid plate.totally trouble free and we build oil pressure and do cranking pressure with it.crank trigger starts fine too.

    Starters

    Listen to Chris, (BLOWN1969CAMARO) He fried a Tilton, has piles of parts from them in his trailer. He went to that Meziere deal and it works great, I don't know if he has been flipping the crank trigger to mag pickup switch to fire it since he went to the Meziere but the Tilton didn't want to start the car on the crank trigger most of the time, seems like the Meziere hasn't had any problems with it.
