    Hi all,
I'm trying to determine which gear ratio is best for a 3 speed B&J. Car is 270 inch top alky dragster chassis, engine is 461 KB, 1st generation Whipple screw blower at 39 over. Three disc pedal clutch. Tire is 34.5/17/16. With the 2 speed, best 60 ft time was .990. Any suggestions?

    Tough decision

I've found running 1.89 first gear is slightly base/aggressive but 1.76 can give you more tuning area if you are running slippery tracks.

    I would suggest a 1.80 low with a 4.56 or even a 4.72 rear end.

Are you running 1/8 or 1/4? What rear ratio did you have with the two speed?
