input shaft magnet

    What are you guys using to glue in the magnet on the input shaft for the data recorder? Thanks.

    I use a clear two part epoxy made by Loctite. You can buy it at Home Depot of any hardware store. Do not use J B Weld because it has metal particles in if and the metal will climb up on the magnet top and dry hard.

    Just make sure you put them in the correct way. Once there in there they are hard to get out. As me how I know this:eek:

    Who's data recorder are you using ? Why don't you get the magnets from them ?

    I use a compass to tell me which is the south side.
