I am trying to figure out how to mount a RCD Crank Trigger ring and how to set up the pickup. I do not have room to use the off set ring. The straight ring is 7" so it is smaller than my pulley, which i think is approximately 7.5 inches. if i understand it correctly the ring is tight to the back of the pulley, and smaller than the pulley.
How do you place the pickup with the pulley in the way?

Does anyone have any pictures on how they have done theirs?

    thank you

Or you could custom make a ring with a larger diameter.

My other 2 motors I have msd 8" rings on, but I had trouble running it on the dyno, never did figure it out. Lower HP, I tried msd pickup and Leahy pickup.

    Policy Peddler,

I use a 70 tooth 8mm pulley on the motor which is the same diameter as the crank trigger wheel. I don't what kind of boost you are looking for but you can easily get a 40 OD with a 50 tooth on top.
    Good Luck, Joe
