    Hi,
I saw on another site, that there are 2 styles of veney heads - A 175cc Fuel head and a 90cc Alcohol head.
Others sites + people I have talked with say that all Veney heads are 175cc.
So what is the truth about Veney heads? What styles are they offered in? And do they all use the same intake/exhaust pattern?

Thanks for any info you might have regarding these heads.

Hi, The pro mod teams I work for both run the Veney Alcohol heads and I can tell you that all Veney heads have large chambers 150+cc, I don't recall the exact numbers but I use Fatheads which have the small 90 ish cc chambers. This is why the Veney Motors like more ignition timing than the fathead.

I know the fathead stuff better but to the best of my knowledge there are 3 versions of the alcohol heads, 2.40, 2.50, and 2.60 intake valves. We ran the 2.50 and 2.60 heads.

    Hope this helps a little,

They make two distinct heads, the original fuel head, and what they call the "Pinch head", hard to tell in these pictures but the chamber is a little more sculpted and takes a more profiled piston dome, but can use a bigger valve than the older fuel heads (I think) CC's are less than the fuel head but still more than the BAE Fatheads. Here is a link with some pics, John Knox is the owner of Sassy Engines, can probably tell you as much about the differences as anyone.

There are several versions of alky heads. Call sassy racing engines or veneys. I just switched and I am still learning.
