So what do you torque the blower nuts at???? Mag case Mooney, aluminum studs and nuts. Just using a base gasket, not the o-ring. We have always just "snugged" them up, but I'm sure there is an actual torque spec. What is it?

    Thanks

    Chuck.

I have always done them at 144 inch lbs. So anywhere between 12 and 20 ft lbs. just sneak up on them from one side to another while rotating the blower to make sure it is not twisting the case and putting the rotors in a bind.

if your using aluminum nuts on aluminum studs, I would recommend some anti seize on the threads

Oh ya. Just found we had a little issue with the blower not being sealed up. I would like it all to go in the motor. We should be ready.
