building christmas tree

want to build a full size real looking christmas tree;;it is just for disply use at events and car shows that i take car to when i/m not racing and like when set car up at charity events i my have car at..does not need to work..does anyone have a practice tree that they can give me detail pics of..and detail measurements[exp;;distance between each light[say middle of light to middle of next light..also acroos left to right lane light distance and so on..having a friend buil it for me and he's never been to a drag race so has no ideal hat they look like to copy..can only show him pics on line but doesn't really give him good angles as to bulb angles and so on..have a showing i'm making on march 30th for a kids easter egg hunt event in town and was asked to bring my car and let the kids set in it and get pics taken..thinking the lights would just finish the pic off..
