What Spring Checker to use on a Miner Bros Hemi?

I would like to purchase a spring checker to test valve springs while on the motor between rounds for a Miner Bros Hemi. I have looked around and none of the on head models list Miner as a compatible engine. Will any of these work or does anyone know who makes one that works for a Miner motor? Thanks for the help...

i looked into this for mine, couldnt find one. asked around and most said that since these things didnt kill springs like the other hemis, they didnt even check them anymore, and just cycled the springs at when they felt it was time. true story. dan

I changed the handle around on a Wizards and made a different hook, kinda works....

Derry O'Donovan makes one that works well. His company is called Pro Sport Engineering. I will see if I can get you his number. We only use it on the intakes, not even sure if it will work on the exhausts. As stated in an earlier post, really have no issues with springs to speak of so not a big deal. I do use mine whenever I think about it though. I'll see if I can get you a phone number.

 

Clint that would be great if you find his number and can send it to me. What pressure do you end up taking the springs off and changing them at? Just curious about how many passes you put on a set of springs in you Miner engine? Also, do you have a set schedule or number of passes for your valves, retainers, etc?
