I have an outlaw car with a screw blown Bae mag 44. Looking for opinions from you guys on what you think. I like a lot of the options the grid has but also heard of some problems with it. Has any one tryed both?

I would highly recommend the Grid. There were a few problems with the hardware when it first came out but those have all been rectified. The biggest hurdle is learning all the tricks with the software. The Grid is expandable with add on modules and the 8973 is not.

The grid seems to work pretty well with Pro Mag 44 systems just as a controller.

Some of the guys in Nitrous and Pro Stock have reported problems, and I'm not sure how much is self-induced by user and how much is actual hardware issues. Haven't heard of too many issues with healthy Pro Mag systems.

I have had a grid in Chris Foster's car since the end of 2011. Definitely the way to go in my opinion
