Offset Lifters: Yes or No

    looking at straightening the pushrod angles up, a .180 offset would be real nice, is it worth the risk.

    On what ? Hemi , Chevy ? I had them on a 2400hp Chevy that turned 10,000 rpms . They lasted for 4 seasons before a rebuild . They were jesel , you get what you pay for .

    a custom hemi, was concerned the side load could cause probs sooner than later, thanks for your feedback, sounds like theres nothing to worry about

    Tried it on oure hemi, 4 runs (9000rpm 400lbs) and we broke a linkbar and the lifter rotaded and made som ugly marks in the camshaft.
    But if you still wanna try it i have a couple of new and used (4 runs) ones that you can buy cheap, i dont wanna use them anyway.

    Mine were keyed jesel. .937. Offset on the intake side with PAC 1360 springs and 500lbs on the seat. Never had a problem until I switched to lsm lifters
