    hi!
could someone give me some information about the build of an unblown, alcohol injected motor?
i have a mopar big block wedge (cast iron production block)long block that i ran blown and alcohol injected and want to convert it,so i would like to know about CR,cam specs(my current camshaft has a 110° LSA)and rods(aluminum or steel)that would best suit the engine.
my current setup has aluminum rods, and 10:1 CR,and 413 cui in displacement(3.58 stroke and 4.284 bore).
i have a weiand tunnel ram intake that i will machine to fit a bug catcher, that is equipped with an enderle K valve.
am i headed in the right direction?
    any advice appreciated
    :)

N/A alcohol loves compression,.13.4 and up
Get a cam w/ duration around 284 int/288exh, 110-111 is good lc, lift will depend on your head flow but probly around .730-.770, if you have excellent flow heads around .780-.817 Int, always check V to P clearence,. its not always about How Big the Int runners are, its about velocity, smaller runners alot of times will be more effecient than huge ported ones, around 315-320 flow for your cubes,, good heads make a world of difference.
Aluminum rods are great, you can however run good steel aftermarket rods without problems at all too.

If you can get 15-1 out of it (or up to 16) GO FOR IT!

thanks a lot for your answers!
should i keep the current ignition?(SMIII upgraded by FIE to SMIV)
do i still use copper head gaskets?
one last question:the lines from the dist block to the intake ports, are they supposed to be of equal length?
sorry for going into details with my questions, just want to do things right the first time...
and a big thanks to you all!:eek:

Yes that mag will work excellent,...
Yes you can still use the copper gaskets, This is a dry block right "No Water"..???
You can get more compression going with a thinner gasket too, just know where your V to P clearences are,and piston to chanmber..
Your Nozzle lines dont litterally have to be the same size depending where the dist block is mounted some will be longer, and or shorter.
