Anyone using a live axle rearend with a drop out center section either blown, or Afuel?
If so how is it holding up as far as gears go? Also what brand is it and what size of ring gear?
I am concidering converting an older TF Car to AF, of course a Chrisman would be the easier choice but was wondering if a Drop out would be more cost effective for the inital set up.
    Thanks

    rear ends

Been using a 9-9.5 Chrisman for years both TAFC and NFC, have 40 + runs on a 4.29 gear in the NFC with no problems and thats with a 9" pro gear

If you are going to use the 9/9.5" rear then go with either the modular Chrisman or Spitzer style. They are the strongest.
