also remember on the pressure holes use very little sealer.and we also use a very thin line of sealer from the top left corner all the way around to the top right corner.Dave

On our Hemi I machined for a rubber oring in the head AND in the block so that we don't have to worry about using sealer, waiting for it to dry, or having someone use too much and plug the feed hole up. One less thing to worry about when your in a hurry.

    O-ringed oil Holes

I have been using the gray silicone top left to top right for a long time and around the return and pressure holes but I'd like to oring the pressure and return holes. What tool or cutter did you use to make the oring groove?

I made my own out of these cutters that come as a kit, they looked kind of like a mini hole saw, used the center of it as a pilot in the oil hole and just modified it to get the correct depth and diameter of the hole. It took a bit of practicing/testing to get it just right.

    Oring Groove Cutter

I thought about using a RotoBroach also but wondered if the bottom and sides of the groove would be smooth enough and without ridges to actually seal with an oring. Might be worth a try.
    Thanks
