NHRA Rules- Spark Plug/ Wire Retainers

    Hi,
    Is there a rule that requires an external retainer for the spark plug wires for tafc? I can't find it in the rulebook.

    The valve covers on my engine have them....I will need to adapt them to the new fabricated aluminum vale covers if required or advisable to do so.

    No there is Not,....But there is a rule for having the external retainer for each spark plug tube mounted on the valve covers to help prevent the tube from pushing out.

    Youngtuner, I have the custom made Moroso's. I think someone fab's them for Moroso.
