I am putting together a BAE with a wet sump funny car pan. I have heard from previous posts I will need to run approximately 13 quarts of oil to make it to the end with pressure. If that is the case should I not run a windage tray in the pan to allow the oil to get back to the bottom of the pan easier towards the end of the run. With 13 quarts the oil will be above the tray splashing in the crank anyway?

A funny car pan by itself wont hold 13 qts. Most funny car pans only hold maybe 6-8 qts in the pan. You will need to set it up like a dry sump. Then you can run more oil. Most of the pans come with a windage tray built in. If your going to spin it hard you will need more than 13 qts, even if you had a dragster pan.
