Hi, has anyone experimented with pinion angles on a solid rear? I'm building a 104 inch wheelbase blown alcohol altered so I'm looking for any tips that may help me with setting up the rear ? Thanks

There is nothing to experiment with pinion angles in a solid mount rearend/car,..
Pinion angle in a solid rear mounted car is a direct result of motor placement,.angle/dump or rise.
The angle or dump of a motor determines weight transfer of the torque/power.

Thanks, would you have an example of. If the engine were flat or 2-3 degrease what change would I expect in power transfer? Thanks

Driveline angle does not effect power transfer unless it doesnt equal pinion angle. Do you mean engine height effecting weight transfer. Are you building a 104" exibition car?

Yes, I want to run the altered on methanol but cackle it occasionally at shows. I'd like to run 7.60's and hopefully keep it soft on parts? I have a lot to learn and I'm really looking forward to it.
