Without boring everybody with a long story.

Does anyone know approximately what a 4.80 and a 4.90 to the 1000 foot equates to in the quarter mile?

I've never run that fast but was this weekend.

I couldn't run my car through the quarter (Top Dragster 6.00 max) didn't want to get DQ'd. (already ran a 5.95 lifting)

    Thanks in advance.

I have always found that it takes almost exactly 1 second from the 1000 foot to the 1320, assuming you would be going about 220 or 230 mph at the quarter mile. If your car can go 240 plus, it is slightly less than 1 second.
