Hemi vs BBC Weight?

    Can someone tell me how much heavier a complete aluminum hemi will be over a complete aluminum BBC, with or without blower. We just need the difference to help set up a chassis-THANKS in advance for any help! Jim

    I had a cn 5.0 inch billet block solid block and heads , dry sump . When I switched to the hemi I saved 60 lbs over the Chevy.

    Anyone else have info on Hemi and BBC weights????

    Can anyone else tell me if they gained or lost weight on a total engine when they switched from a BBC to a Hemi or the other way? THANKS! Jim

    When i switched from a steel block, alu headed BBC to a TFX hemi i only lost about 10 lbs total.
