what is the best injector

which injector is the best recommended for low overdrive apps. 8-71 and 6-71 at 10 and 18 over thanks. what effect does butterfly size have? more butterfly the better? thanks

ok guys i know some of you have input on carbon injectors lets try this again which injectors have been tried and what differences between them were there? or just opinions on the carbon injectors being built ? thanks

 

Boost me

cant say much, but with our own deal, switching from a huge 4 hole psi boat injector to a carbon funny car 65 inch with a 1471 picked up 4 lbs of boost with a hi helix blower. i can only assume that the velocity and design made the air in the top part of the blower gave it better direction and velocity. i think this was a good example of 60s tech vs 2k tech, and why there is so much new tech involving inlets and injector designs now. somebody figured out how much was really left on the table with the old dumb blower injector designs, and nobody really thought it was needed. i am sure there may be a difference in the newer stuff, but its probably really cutting hairs for a specific blower/od combo now. it used to be bolt it on and go, but now the blowers and injectors are really a specific combo/class item. pro mod guys are are millionaires that run for free, so they dont mind buying a new design every month, and seem to go through different styles. used ones are kinda expensive, but any of them work better than the old box designs, but like mike says, talk to the experts on this one.
