Oh boy clutch guys...did anyone notice in the semi finals of Indy that Snyder's converter car had the same exact MPH as the Newb's???? Well what you guys think?? Seems to me he can run with anyone out there.

I don"t think so. If I had put some counterweight on it, it would have gone 3or4 mph faster. We were running good enough to win so it was not necessary to risk the added weight. Let us all know when the convertor runs over 260 mph.

Looked to me that Snider's car didn't '60 ft as quick as some of the others. He must leave at a lower RPM!

Chicago is our next race. After the @ss whipping you guys gave us at Indy I needed the time off to attend a self esteem seminar while Marc attends an anger management class...just kidding, of course!

I didn't get a chance to congratulate you guys on a job well done at Indy. Your car was running like a bracket racer. Tell Bob congrats from us, too.

50 years from now they'll be talking about who won the 50th US National's.

My copy of the run sheets are in the trailer at Indy, so I'm only speaking from memory. But it seemed to me Snyder's had consistantly the quicker 330' times compared to the field. 60 foot times are like long drives in golf, they look good, but they don't win races. Lou Gasparrelli told me about 12 years ago that the finish line is about 1,260 feet past the 60' clocks, and he's never seen the win light come on due to a car running a quicker 60' than another.

Randy, I was going on the fact that Snider left at Much lower RPM's than just about everybody. But I will say that car seems Tireshake-proof!
