TAD chassis

I am looking for info on a TAD chassis , told it is a hadman 1994 etc

But of course there is one of those oval date tags:

0063 020
1-4-85

Darkside I have a top alcohol dragster rolling chasis for sale and the oval tag on it reads 12-95 which means it was built december of 1995. It is NHRA legal and I am reducing the price another $1000 to $17,500. The car was run in Division 5 by me (richard putz) with much success.

 

Thanks , I do understand that both cars are NHRA certified and meet existing rules I was trying to find out, who was the original builder

Either the #0063 or the #020 should be the Manufacture # , the other being the serial #


and I was noting that the owner of the chassis was told it was a 94 hadman , and assumed that info was correct

 

the 0063 is chassis build number,..the 020 is the sema chassis builder #20
which was givin to Al Swindahl at Chassis components Corporation out of Tacoma Wa.
This is where Brad Hadman worked for many years, and carried on Als work after Al Passed away including his sema number even though most all of Al Swindahls jigs, paper work etc was sold to Dave Jeffers in 96-97 and then later to another guy out of the mid west eventually.
Hadman may have had a new number givin to him after a certain point with all the new cars being built after 1999-2000..???

Your chassis is a Al Swindahl car, and was probly fron or back halfed by Hadman in 94.
