I did a search and think receiver grooves would help seal the cyl better. I'm having gasket probs on blown sbc. I've had .035 orings put in .020 deep but dont know where or how deep to put receiver grooves, and are they square or half round?
    Thanks Steve

Cut the receiver groove .008 to .010 bigger than the o-ring, .010 to .012 deep.

Ran a blown 350 at 30 lbs, had copper gaskets, and O'rings, that were marginal....switched to a cometic gasket and it was awsome!! Sealed when cold (for leak down checking too)
