:mad:I'm sooooo happy 20 minutes of Seattle Lucas Oil coverages got trimmed so I could fast forward thru NASCRAP qualifying overage.... wouldn't want to cut into the four hours of International Crawfish Plucking Championships ESPN2 right after...

I'm with ya' but the taxicabs do look better on the road courses. I thought I was suffering from precocious senility when the finals came up just after the quarter finals.
NHRA needs to get their broadcasting on a network that will give us the whole show. The Lucas Series broadcasts are all taped for crying out loud. Do they employ no one who knows how to schedule a pre-recorded show?
    Yikes!

After the quarter finals? They showed two pair of second round TA/FC, took a commercial break, and went straight to the finals. No TAD quarters or any semi finals of anything.

John Evanchuk won his first national event. Would have been nice to have added a copy of a complete TV show to his memorabilia.

Let's hope they re-air it. Might check with the duce or NHRA on their web site.

    The Final Page

I'll hijack my own thread. It looks like Page is on the out according to Geiger's site:

    Page's Countdown Begins

I also heard he is to be replaced by the excellent & knowledgable Dave Rieff.

Race will be replayed after the Indy Alky coverage on Sept 9th. Or you could just watch it now on ESPN3.
