The 25% and 28% gearsets use a smaller intermediate shaft. I assume that you can purchase the shaft by itself from Lenco.

Just to make sure....is this a CS-1 or CS-2 transmission? In a CS-2 there are two diameter shafts available.

The 25% setup uses a shaft that is smaller on the end ------------ only for a 25% I'm told as I just got off the phone to Lenco-------------------as I ran into this a few weeks ago swapping gearsets from several transmissions ---------------

I believe the shaft for the front case is different from the second case
so depending on which case you use it in
But i could be wrong just cant remember for sure

What does the case have to do with this situation ? I figure I might learn something here . Thanks

The issue I found was the spline od on the 25% shaft is a smaller diameter than the others---- I called Lenco and they told me the 25% was the only one that used the smaller shaft -----------------

So as I understand it the 25% planetary and the shaft will fit in any CS 1, true ?

Maybe what John is referring to is a three speed ? I am thinking 2 speeds.

I was refering to a three speed, most of us use them
    the shaft for 2 sped versus a 3 speed ( case#1 vs case #2)
if i remember right is different lengths because of the reverser or case lengths
but its been a while since I have done this
maybe some one remembers for sure
