blown promod battery?

We had all kinds of problems with our 12volt battery this weekend. It's a little motorcycle battery that just runs electronics. It weighs around 12lbs.We always charge it between rounds so it has an easy life as far as im concerned.
Anybody know of something lighter and tough? Seems like there should be some high tech lithium or something.

Leahy makes what you need, the larger battery weighs 3lbs I believe. We run all our electronics and the Lencodrive transbrake with no issues.

If I understand right, some guys are running cordless drill batteries like a 18v

We run Antigravity LiFe battery's in our USAC midget for the inginition system. Weight is a big deal, so LiFe or LiPo battery's are the only way to go.

If you are only running your electronics you should only need the 4 cell battery that weighs 14oz.
