Manifold End Seal material

I am looking to switch the black foam material in my end seal setup on a BAE block--- anybody have info on a good source of material that will stand up to Nitro exposure, .750 wide by .375 high ??

I had some weatherstripping with sticky backing at one time that worked by I have lost my source, it was a higher durometer than Brad sells.

i put my manifold, and blower on with no weather stripping...torqued everything down like i was ready to run and measured the gap between the block and manifold. i made a spacer out of aluminum and bolted it to the end rail on the block......i use an o-ring and just a little silicone on the ends....works great. i also put a locator on the back of the manifold ( it is a small piece of aluminum that hangs down past the manifold so it sits in the same place every time) just an idea.....hope this helps

Would it really make much difference?

 

Is there a company who build steel "chanels" to hold this seal on a KB as the one sold for a Brad ?
