buzing my mallory supermag 111

    reading instruction on using don zig buzz box to set my timing..doesn't say in them so asking you;;do i hook up my buzz box to mag wires with mag unpluged from coil hook-up or do i leave hooked up to coil and just hook buzz box to [+] and [-] on coil..and i leave my mag kill switch in run position..correct?

    Unplug the two or three wire plug from the mag to the coil--- hook your alligator clips on the leads coming out of the mag----------

    Don keep pressure on the rotor if it is turning clock wise put the pressure on it counter clockwise..Dave

    A little trick one of my crew guys did was to install the same mating plug (m/f) from the magneto to the buzz box.The aligator clips should not be used for this,when you plug in you create a true connection.Hope this helps,DAVE

    Like this trick..i will do that.i can see where the clips can come off when in a rush..thanks
