Setback on B1 heads

    Hello All,

    I did a custom 1" thick setback plate for my K8 non Superman w/ pie oultet compressor.
    Here is a picure of the mock up :

    Do you see any fuel distribution issue with that much setback +/- 5", the outlet pie is pretty much centered in the manifold now.

    What / where may I find a blower snout to fit on ? ( I may need a 10" long snout)

    We did the same on 18 degree sbc and it works perfect. The front two cylinders will still be a little leaner but overall the nozzles are within a couple.

    setback

    Try just turning the manifold around. It will gain you 3 5/8" setback.I have run one that way and it helped me.

    What manifold did you use. We just finished our 18 degree using a carb manifold we modified for our blower app moving the blower back 3 1/2.
