valve spring tool question ???????

    want to be able to change my springs with the head still on the motor if needed.rbs has an on head spring changer but does not list it for use on a veney head.asked jr but he did not know if it would work. anybody here know ? thanx

    we have a cheap tool from Summit Racing that we have used with the heads on. You just fill the cylinder with air and that holds the valve shut. Our springs were only 310lb though...

    you need to buy a tool from Ora he makes great stuff..I don't have his number on me but i have it at the shop, you can call Dennis Taylor and get it Ora works on Dennis's car for him..Dave

    thankyou for the posts.i have one of the lsm style for when the head is off.i am looking for one to use while the head is still on the block.i will contact the other people whose names i have been given. is anybody familiar with the one on rbs website though ? thanx again for all of the help.
