Thinking about lowering compression ratio for #1 and #2 cylinders by 1 point on a roots blown Veney deal. Anyone ever tried this with success?

We lowered 1, 3 and especially 6 on the screw blower deal, but have never done it with a roots.

    Short rods

Short rods in 123 or you need a manifold shoe. we ran one with our roots with Veney heads and it was better than using short rods. if you lose quench(short rods) in a Veney head it really loses torque!

I saw a Veney motor once that used different rocker ratio on the 1-2-6. Closed the valve sooner seemed to be working well

Contact sassy racing engines thay have been doing this for years on there pulling engines. Probably have the parts you need in stock so you wouldn't have to custom order new sets of rods and pistons.
