tire balancing bags

    Have any of you guys run tire balancing bags that have sand in them to balance slicks and front tires. Do they work. Any pros or cons. Thanks cj

    If its what you mean, a friend of mine who is an auto mechanic told me about a product called "dyna beads" you put them in the tire and the centrifugal force of the beads finds the unbalance. He says its mostly for large truck and long mile vehicles. I would think they take a few seconds to find the spot they need to be and with the speed of a drag tire it may cause problems.

    Again I don't know if thats what you are talking about, but I'm staying with the old school stick-ons for now.

    Yes this is what i am talking about.
    I have heard amazing results from these on daily drivers, big rigs, and tractors.
    Sounds like a great way to go. Just want to hear confirmation that someone races with them and how many oz bags were used to balance.bu
