Replacing Brushes and Springs on RCD Starter

    Anyone got instructions on how to replace the springs on the brushes on a old style RCD Starter? I can change the brushes fine, but getting the springs installed is not working.

    Do I need to take the starter apart? Or is there a trick?

    are you talking the ones that look like a clock spring that hook on the brush block

    Yes. How do you install? Take apart the starter?

    How to replace RCD old style starter brush springs
