what parachutes needed

    was told i needed strouds #430 chutes for my altered[2 of them]in the other brands what would be same as the stroud?as a example..simpson 10' skyjacker;;same or not?just trying to compare prices of other brands that would work for me.
    not sure what chutes i need.car never been weighed or down track yet;;
    FUEL ALTERED
    125" MOLY chassis
    fabed 9" rear with floaters[4;10 gears]
    bbc[estimated 1600hp max]
    PG trans[10" blower converter]
    lightweight "T" body

    any ideals on what i need for chutes[pair]sizes and no#'s

    Don....
    i run 2 10' simpson chutes on my car...i would run the equivalent on yours......brand is up to you.

    Love the dual chutes. I run about the same combo altered. Only been over 200mph once, but still like the dual simpsons 10' I think. With an altered, keepin it under control on the shut down is just as hard or harder than keepin it in the groove. I have 2 levers side by side. tall 1 for 1 chute. the close 1 gives you both. works great.
