blown alky dragster tire pressure

    my first year stepping up to a 275 mike boss hardtail/slipjoint car.blown 526 with an abruzzi glide.rear wheels are a liner setup,hoosier c2055 34.5x17x16 tires.4.30 gear.any recommendations as to where to start on rear tire pressure ? also,what pressure should the seperate liner valves be ?thanx in advance.

    x2, I like to use a valve stem cap on the liners so that someone doesn't inadvertently check the liner pressure with the low pressure gauge. Are you new to the Mike Bos car or the combination? We run a Bos car as well.

    Depends where you are running, slippery track run 6 psi, good track 5 psi. 6 psi willl bite too hard on a good track, you want some wheel speed to get off the line properly.

    the whole setup inc car & engine & trans is a new for me.went from a nelson 240 swingarm car with a 632 w 2 stages to this. great suggestion with the stem cap on the liner valve.thankyou.
