    Help

BBC Bryant crank, using RCD crank hub.

Rcd has only a 3.00 inch bolt or a 4.4 inch bolt.

    These are 3/4" 16.

One bolt is too short the other is too long and is only treaded for the last inch so I can't just shorten the bolt.

I need a 3.50 3/4 16 bolt that will fit inside the crank support.

Has any one come accoss this issue before, could a stud and nut work?

    Any ideas.

I have been using stud and nuts on cranks for a long time. One stripped crank will do that to ya.
Go to McMaster Carr and seek out some grade 8 quality fine thread - thread all. Then look for an appropriate size and thick hardened washer and your choice of nut. I prefer 12 point flange nuts.
