I want to know peoples experiences with different makes of sfi 20 gloves.

I've been using a pair of Nimbus Carbon X gloves and they have been great. They've had many years use now and are worn out (beginning to see my palm through the seams in places!) so need a new pair. They don't make the gloves anymore, so I need another pair.

I don't like the big thick nomex kitchen gloves some of the manufacturers make, so I want to know if anyone knows of any good thinner more pliable -20 gloves around?

I see Sparco make -20 equipment now, how good is that stuff?

Peoples opinions and experiences would be appreciated!

Ringers made a really nice glove but don't anymore, Sparrco is junk, and the Simpson is like an oven mitt you were talking about. I'd recommend the Stand21 Glove, their safety equipment is the nicest stuff there is hands down.

DJ Safety came out with a new -20 glove. I looked at them at SEMA in 2010 and they were alot like the Ringers (which I have and love). I haven't seen alot of info out on them yet, but I would give them a call.

best gloves out there, my ringers are about dead so thats what ill use,
and their 20 boots are great too, just a standard looking race shoe no need for overboots in a blown alky front motored car nice stiff soles too, so you can push any amount of base without your eyes watering.......

I use the simpson-20. They are kinda thick, but you get use to them. Had to take the elastic out of the forarm band so they would slide over my suit. I looked all around for the carbon-x gloves....nowhere to be found. Almost bought the sparco cause they looked thin.
