Got my fuel altered roller about a year ago..has never been down track since chassis was built..it has a nhra certification tag on it ..punched out;;6;00 & slower;;;2006;;weight n/a

i have a chance end of month to have it recertified..there's a person in town that is haveing a person to come into town to do his 2 cars and contacted me to see if i'd like to have mine done at same time[will save me lot of money..closes place to haul car to is 300miles away]..

Is there anything to could stop mine from being recertified?nothing on chasis has been added or removed since old certification tag was put on car.

As long as the 1" diameter tube head/helmet guards are in place, you should be good.

I just got my chassis certed to 6.00 and it is from the 1980's, it's all tig welded chrome-moly, tubing correct diameter and wall thicknes and updated to the SFI spec so it passed.

Are you going to run it where you need the tag?

For what its worth contact SFI and request a spec sheet for what you need certified. It will cost a few bucks but well worth the $. This is also a great back up when you have your inspection to reference back to if anything is in question.Good luck,DAVE
