I have a Single Butterfly injection unit on a small block Chevy, A couple questions. When I am ready to start it, should I prime it with gas or alcohol? I only have the eight port nozzles in the intake runners, I know when you guys leak-down your barrel valve you block off all returns and all nozzles except hat nozzles. Will I block off just my returns or can't I leak-down my barrel valve like this? And if I can what should I set it at? Thanks. Scott

if it is cold we might use a gas/alcohol mix..but 95% of the time we use alcohol only as for leak down im not for sure what you have if it's like our big hat you must block off to get a reading, you might call Jim at enderle or call good vibrations and ask for Jim or Jessica, Jessica is VERY SMART..if chrisman lets her work on the fuel car thats good enough for me:)..Dave

I like gas. We pull the cap to the distribution block and look for 83%, give or take.

Our motors light easier on gas but the guy with the bottle needs to know what he's doing, with gas its easy to under or over do it.

When we ran NA, used gas at first, then switched to alky priming, then sped up starter and didn't prime at all--500 inch Buick on alky. JW
