If anyone is running a really high boost 4.500 bore 4.840 bore center billet MBRE/Fontana block, with the 2" thick register sleeves, I'd like to ask a question either on or off line (ie: alcohol funny car or pull tractor....).

Are you seeing any bore distortion issues? Ring sealing issues? Head gasket sealing issues? Or, is everything generally pretty good?

I'm in the process of picking the intended bore size for the next couple of blocks that I have built. My thinking is to go with 4.500 but I wondered what other's experiences were at that diameter and center?

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

What do you consider high boost,..??? 50 lbs..???

Why not just call Bob,.. at his shop,
His motors run hard and fast and are solid stay together motors with out issues, other than caused by human error.

Yes, 50+. I have spoken to Bob & Rick. Now I'm looking for some feedback from actual users in the field. Thanks.

Hopefully Clint Thompson will chime in. He loves them and runs very hard everywhere he goes. There are a ton of TA/FC and TAD guys running them with great success.
