hi,i have a blown alky bbc that im currently gathering parts to build.i already have a enderle front cover and a pete jackson gear drive but i cant be certain is a real pete jackson not a chinese knock off.its new unused but not in the correct box. do i search out a original pete jackson or run a timing chain? i will be running a enderle 110 pump off the cam if that matters much.im trying to keep cost down at this point.

    Gear me

throw that junk away and get a decent summer bros or a descent gear drive setup. the chain will break easily, no matter how good of one you buy. a crappy gear drive lets the timing go all over the place. you can watch it with a timing light. save yourself a big headache and buy a descent one to start off with. even a muldoon or milodon is way better than the jackson.
