    i have this kit http://www.coanracing.com/Catalog.asp?ProductDetail=150

i used to have a tfx block

i now have a stage 15 keith black

now the starter wont fit beacuse the block hangs lower in this area. i can mill the top of starter to clear (i think )
but has anyone else done this or had this problem

also the bolts on tfx were 7/16 and the kb15 is 3/8 these are the taperd ones with the kit should i drill my brand new block for 7/16 or should i just use 3/8 ones that will be sunk in a little bit

help is appricited how ever if you dont know exactly what i am talking about please call me 813-690-0181 thanks chris www.mendola.org

I have the same thing, I just took a hand grinder and buzzed the starter housing a bit I run a CVR starter 3 yrs never a problem You will also have to leave the back two oil pan bolts out (just fill them with silicone) Or if you have a bullet oil pan rail you can counter sink the holes and use counter sunk screws in these 2. I would drill and re-tap the block to 7/16 and get bigger bolts, you will also have to open up the 3/8 counter sunk holes and pockets in the plate to 7/16.
