The Aussies are racing different distances in the same series. Maybe they have a better idea. Would be fun to tune to changing track lengths.

Are you referring to our Doorslammers running the 1/8 and 1/4 ? If so it's a different series. Our regular series(ANDRA Pro series) is 1/4 mile (no 1000ft) and the doorslammers have started their own series of 1/8 mile(Slamfest) at regional tracks. Their 1/8 mile times will be nowhere as quick as your ADRL series as they won't be geared strictly for the 1/8.

The ANDRA Pro Series will be running 1000 ft for all classes at Adelaide in April. This is for Top Fuel, Top Alky, Top Doorslammer, Top Bike & Pro Bike. Don't know if the sportsman classes will be 1000ft, bit hard to come up with an index when it's never been done before but I digress.

I suspect there will be Big Changes with this series in 2013, including going to a calendar year for the season and we will be seeing Pro Series rounds at regional tracks of varying length including 660, 1000 and 1320 ft.

Half of me is looking forward to it, the other half of me is the purist saying drag racing is 1320. Time will Tell.
