Coated Main & Rod Bearings

    Has anybody tried coated main or rod bearings in their blown alky deal? Curious about good or bad results. Not talking Clevite's Tri-Armor, but rather a coating like Calico or Polymer Dynamics. Thanks.

    Bearings

    I run Calico coated Pistons and bearings Screw Blower. 9000rpm, parts last longer.

    Rods & Mains? I was wondering if a person could recoat old shells during the off season and sort of recycle/exchange old bearings? Calico was sort of on the top of my short list.
